We trust that in your search for depth and growth in your spiritual walk, you will find a Sunday School class here at First Baptist Church of the Islands tailored just for you. Because our desire is to equip people to know Christ and to make Him known, our classes are unashamedly based on God's Word, which is our authority as we seek to know Him better and to reflect Him in all that we are. It is our desire that you will find our Sunday School Ministry to be a great help for you as well as an outlet where you might minister to others, also.
All classes are located in the Educational Building. Adult classes are located on the first floor and children's/youth classes are located upstairs. |
Ages: K - 5th grades / Location: Upstairs

Our Children's Sunday School classes are separated into graded classes, ranging from K-5th grades. Each class is co-ed with interactive Bible Study lessons. Object lessons are woven into each class so that they can apply what they learn to their own lives as they experience the power of Jesus. |
| JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL |
Ages: 6th - 8th grades / Location: Upstairs
Teachers: Barry Phillips (guys) Shelley McKenzie (girls)
The classes are built on group discussion and teaching of Biblical principles. Members of the class are taught how to apply what they learn during the following week of their lives. |
| SENIOR HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL |
Ages: 9th thru 12th grades / Location: Upstairs
Teachers: Russ & Sara Long, Mark & Cynthia Schnabel
These classes deal with open discussion on a wide variety of topics that youth deal with today such as home, school, work, friends, etc. Issues are debated and discussed while being applied to the Word. |

The Singled-Out Class is an excellent class if you are looking for discussion and great group interaction. Many of today's issues are the foundation of the class. Ages range from 19-30 with a very diverse group of people represented. An intimate time of prayer and sharing concerns is a vital part of the class. |

This class is open to women of all ages who are interested in seeking God’s plan for their lives. The goal of this class is to become a more Godly woman while dealing with issues that women face daily. Come grow together and learn from each other. |

Discussion-based class designed to understand God's heart on practical issues and how to apply Biblical concepts to everyday life. This class consists primarily of married couples, some with children, others without. Be prepared for lively discussions that will frame our faith in a contemporary context. Relationships are built and nourished in the Crossroads class. |

This class gives ladies an opportunity to come together with laughter and love. The primary focus of the Ladies Friendship Class is to study God's Word so that we may live His Word. Come and join the ageless, energetic and committed women of this class as they pray, teach, give and reach others for Christ! |

Designed for married couples in their 30's & 40's this class will be a valuable resource for practical biblical insight on issues relevant to today's young families. You and your spouse will be greatly encouraged and enriched through the meaningful relationships you will develop in this class. |
MOSAIC CLASSES - Classes designed as
"Mosaic classes" are aimed at those who prefer to attend a class open to anyone in any life setting for that particular age group. Couples, individuals, and those who attend without their spouses are encouraged to attend.

This Sunday School class is an electric and energetic group of singles and married who have reached their 50's, either in age or mindset. As God uniquely gifts each person, we as a class seek to use His gifts for His glory and the furtherance of His kingdom. Come join with us as we encourage one another through fun filled fellowship, Bible study, class social activities and group service opportunities. It'll be a blast! This class is geared for today's senior adults. Studying the Word and applying the attributes of Christ to our lives play a large role in the class. The members are a close knit group of people who share concerns and carry each other's burdens by means of encouragement, meals, and prayer. An emphasis is also placed on drawing closer together and to the Lord as they serve the Him and each other. |
