It was exciting to have Sounds of Liberty here with us on Sunday, featuring our own Jesse Phillips!  What a great day we had here in taking the opportunity to praise and worship the Lord all service long.  We had a huge crowd in our 10:45 service and I was so proud to see a number of our folks step up to assist visitors in finding seats (which were quite a commodity)! 

We are coming closer to the big day of May 4th, when we will make our covenants to God concering our giving toward the Beyond Measure capital giving campaign.  So many have been getting on board and it has been extremely exciting to see the involvement of so many of our folks on so many levels.  In fact, just the other night we had a round of meetings with a few of our Capital Giving Leadership Teams and Joyce Gardner was so faithful to insure that those who attended the meetings had good food to eat, since some of those meetings were during normal supper time!  She went above and beyond and made a huge difference in the process!  Many have been doing just the same recently in showing Christ through their involvement in the Beyond Measure campaign.  God is using us to reach people today and for years to come and it's so exciting to be a part!  Be in prayer right now for God to show you what He would have you to give to help accomplish this project for His glory and the benefit of those around us for years to come.

By the way, let me say that I love my DIVE class . . . I  and about a dozen men are going through the book entitled "Point Man" and it is already having an impact.  Be sure to come to a DIVE class on Sunday night if you haven't already because it will give what is needed to grow in your relationship with God.  Seven classes for adults plus classes for Preschoolers, Children, and Students provide something for everyone.

I am excited about being able to share God's message on Sunday.  Being out of the pulpit on Easter Sunday and this past Sunday has made me even more fired up than normal to share the message for that day.  Plan to be here and bring someone with you that needs to hear the Gospel.  Pray for God's work to be done and then be the first to make yourself available to Him for His work to be done through you.  Remember that wherever you are in your workplace, community, neighborhood, etc., you are God's representative there to show others what He looks like.  Make Him look good through your life TODAY!
